You've no doubt heard about Update, the hot new mobile / web / user-experience conference on the block that I'm organizing in Brighton this September as part of the Brighton Digital Festival.

I'm hugely excited about it… why? Let's see, off the top of my head:

• We have Brendan Dawes, Jeremy Keith, Sarah Parmenter, Remy Sharp, Jeff LaMarche, Cennydd Bowles, Anna Debenham, and many other awesome speakers from the worlds of iPhone & iPad, web, and user experience.
• We have one of the founders of Apple over as a special guest (his story is fascinating and I can't wait to have a conversation with him)
• We've got – wait for it – the Royal Pavilion booked for our pre-conference dinner. We're going to have drinks and dine like royalty. 
• It's taking place at the gorgeous concert hall in the Dome. 
• And the after-party is taking place at the Pavilion museum, amid the wonderful exhibitions.
• We have live music from 100 Robots and other bands throughout the day. 
• And we have two days of in-depth workshops on the 6th and 7th.
• And that's not even all but, hey, I'm getting carried away (can you tell I'm excited?) :) 

So that's what I have so far… here's what I need: help! :) 

Do you want to be involved with this awesome conference and play a fundamental role in making it a reality? You can by volunteering. Even if you don't have time to volunteer on the day or take an active role prior to the conference, you can still help us by helping spread the word. Or by introducing me to people that might help. There are literally a thousand and one ways you can help that I haven't even thought of yet but that you might have ideas about.

So, why don't we get together, have a drink, and talk about it?

We will have an open bar, some lovely people, and great conversations and you will be taking your first steps to making this awesome conference a reality.
